Michael Guzman

Michael Guzman was born and raised in Palm Springs and has dedicated his career to serving athletes in the Coachella Valley and beyond. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fullerton, and went on to pursue his Master’s degree in Athletic Training at California Baptist University, where he expanded his expertise in sports medicine and athlete care.

Michael currently serves as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Cathedral City High School and as an instructor in Kinesiology at California State University, San Bernardino, where he shares his passion for sports medicine with the next generation of health and fitness professionals. At the same time, he is proud to be a part of the College of the Desert Sports Medicine team, supporting Roadrunner student-athletes with quality care and injury prevention strategies.

Over the course of his education and career, Michael has had the opportunity to work with athletes in a wide variety of settings, from high school and collegiate sports to specialized training environments. His commitment to helping athletes recover, perform at their best, and stay healthy is at the heart of his professional journey.

Rooted in the desert community where he grew up, Michael takes pride in giving back through his work and supporting local student-athletes in achieving their goals both on and off the field.
