COD Beach Volleyball splits at home, knocks off Falcons, 5-0

COD (6-8; 0-2) had a hard time with the Rio Hondo Roadrunners of Whittier (10-1; 1-1) and then moved past the host Cerritos Falcons Club team in a sweep, 5-0.

This is the first time that College of the Desert has played against the Cerritos Falcons Club team. The Roadrunners first played against Rio Hondo in 2018 and have an overall record of 2-2 against the Roadrunners and a 1-1 record at home.

The next contest for the Roadrunners will be at the Mt. San Antonio Mounties of Walnut on March 31st at 10a. Desert will face off with the Irvine Valley Lasers at the same location, later in the day.
