COD (10-21; 8-7) tied the game at 6-6 going into the ninth inning, but even the first home run of 2017 hit at home couldn’t keep the Imperial Valley Arabs (3-30; 1-17) from their first Conference victory of the season, 9-6.
COD (9-20; 7-6) scored all three of their runs in the first two innings and with another fantastic performance by the Roadrunners pitching staff and defense, the home side was able to hold on against the Imperial Valley Arabs (2-28; 0-16), 3-1.
COD (8-19; 6-5) played a huge back-and-forth game, but surrendering five runs in the top of the second would prove to be their undoing, as the San Diego City Knights (11-11; 6-5) took the game, 11-10.
COD (7-18; 5-4) struggled in their Saturday home matinee match against the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines (6-20; 5-7), 12-2.
COD (7-16; 5-2) had one of their more impressive wins of the season and continued rolling through Conference play, as they plated two runs in the bottom of the ninth to take their 5th consecutive win at the expense of the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines (4-20; 3-7), 5-4.
COD (5-16; 3-2) took a big three-run third inning and made it stick as the home side held off the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (3-19; 0-8), 3-1.
COD (2-15; 0-1) opened up Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play and while they received 7 strikeouts from their starting pitcher, they couldn’t get a run across against the Southwestern Jaguars (11-5; 1-0), falling 2-0.
COD (2-14) wrapped up their non-Conference schedule facing a former Foothill Conference foe, the Rancho Cucamonga Chaffey Panthers (10-4), the game would carry over into the 12th inning, where the Roadrunners fell, 4-3.
COD (2-13) a day after losing in a walk-off, the Roadrunners looked to return the favor as Desert’s Allan Dong busted up a perfect game bid in the seventh, but the team fell just short against the Riverside City Tigers (11-5), 4-2.
