Robert "Bobb" Boetto
Assistant Coach

Bobb Boetto is a baseball coach with 14 years of coaching experience.

Coach Boetto is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton 1991, with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. He also holds a Masters degree from Concordia University, Irvine in Coaching/Athletic Administration.

Coach Boetto coached last season for the Roadrunners with coach John Welker and in 2016/2017 he worked under head coach Dennis Rogers at Riverside City College. He coached at Cal State San Bernardino during the 2015/2016 season under head coach Don Parnell. Bobb has been an assistant coach for the prestigious Palm Springs Power collegiate summer team during the last 4 seasons winning 3 championships in 2017, 2015, and, 2014. Coach Boetto is also the director and head coach of the Palm Springs Power youth academy.

Bobb coached at UCLA for three seasons under coach John Savage in 2009, 2010 and 2012 for their summer collegiate prospect camp.

Bobb started his collegiate coaching career as a volunteer assistant at the College of the Desert, in 2008-2010 under coach DJ Simonette. Prior to his collegiate coaching experience Boetto founded and established the Desert Longhorns youth baseball program, a successful youth program based in La Quinta, CA.

Bobb Boetto has lived in the Coachella Valley for 24 years and currently resides in La Quinta. Bobb has two sons, Zachary 22 a student at Cal State Channel Islands and Tony a student athlete at Santa Clara University 19.
