Football: Stephen Johnson II Earns Second Player of the Week Honor
PALM DESERT, Calif.- College of the Desert sophomore quarterback Stephen Johnson II (Rancho Cucamonga, CA/Los Osos HS) has been named this week's American Mountain League Offensive Player of the Week. It is the second straight week in which he has received this honor.

PALM DESERT, Calif.- College of the Desert sophomore quarterback Stephen Johnson II (Rancho Cucamonga, CA/Los Osos HS) has been named this week's American Mountain League Offensive Player of the Week. It is the second straight week in which he has received this honor.
Johnson II completed 32 of 47 passes for 370 yards and five touchdowns in leading the Roadrunners to their first victory of the season, as they defeated conference foe San Diego Mesa last Saturday, 35-17.
College of the Desert (1-3, 1-0) will be back home this Saturday, October 3 for an American Mountain League matchup with San Bernardino.
