Football: Stephen Johnson II Earns Player of the Week Honors

PALM DESERT, Calif. - College of the Desert sophomore quaterback Stephen Johnson II (Rancho Cucamong, CA/Los Osos HS) has been named this week's SCFA All-Purpose Player of the Week.
Johnson led the Roadrunners to a 61-32 win over El Comino-Compton last Saturday evening, completing 20 of 35 passes for 403 yards and five touchdowns. He also ran the ball eight times for 43 yards and two additional touchdowns.
Johnson currently leads the SCFA in passing yards per game (335.0), while also ranking third in passing touchdowns (19). He has a total of 24 touchdowns on the season.
