COD Football: Smith named PCAC Athlete of the Week

COD Football freshman quarterback De'Abrie Smith (Palatka, FL) has been named an Honorable Mention Pacific Coast Athletic Conference's (PCAC) Male Athlete of the Week for the week of November 21st.

This is the first season of competition in the PCAC for COD. 

According to the release, issued by PCAC Sports Information Director, Tom Saxe, "Smith was 31-for-49 passing with no interceptions, 324 yards and two touchdowns in COD's 63-37 loss to East Los Angeles in the Patriotic Bowl at the Roadrunners' Boone Field." Smith, who had not played a down of football since being injured on October 1st at Santa Barbara City, returned to start the Patriotic Bowl and was named the offensive Player of the Game.
