Ogilvie Named SCFA Defensive Player of the Week After Historic Performance

College of the Desert freshman linebacker Ayden Ogilvie (Twentynine Palms H.S.) has been named the SCFA Week 6 Defensive Player of the Week, following a dominant performance that helped rewrite Roadrunner history.

Ogilvie was electric in COD's thrilling 24-23 victory over LA Southwest, delivering one of the most impactful defensive outings in recent memory. He recorded:

* 13 total tackles (6 solo)
* 4 sacks for a loss of 30 yards
* 1 forced fumble
* 1 fumble recovery

His effort was instrumental in snapping COD's four-game losing streak, securing the first conference win and first home win of the season, while also marking the program's first home victory over LA Southwest since 1985.

Ogilvie's relentless play set the tone for the Roadrunner defense and earned him well-deserved conference recognition.
