Angel Gloria
Offensive Line Coach

Coach Angel Gloria brings a lifetime of dedication to the game of football and a deep connection to the Coachella Valley to his role as offensive line coach for the Roadrunners. A graduate of Coachella Valley High School, Gloria was a two-sport varsity athlete in football and track, earning multiple league honors on the field while also receiving numerous academic awards. As a two-way captain for the Mighty Arabs, he quickly established himself as both a leader and competitor.

After high school, Gloria continued his playing career at the semi-pro level (2014–2015) before returning home to suit up for the College of the Desert. Over two standout seasons (2016–2017), he anchored the Roadrunners’ offensive line, served as a team captain, and helped lead COD to a bowl game appearance. His performance and leadership earned him an athletic scholarship to Black Hills State University, where he went on to excel as a student-athlete, graduating with academic honors.

Following his playing career, Gloria applied the lessons of teamwork, discipline, and leadership beyond the gridiron—managing businesses and working in airport operations in Denver, Colorado. Now back in the Coachella Valley, he is eager to invest in the next generation of Roadrunners, mentoring student-athletes as they develop on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
