PALM DESERT, Calif. - After cutting the San Bernardino lead to just five at 20-15, the visitors used a 16-2 run at the end of the first half to propel themselves to an 82-44 win over College of the Desert (5-14, 0-2) men's basketball Wednesday evening in Palm Desert.

Freshman guard Greg Hodgdon (Terra Linda HS) led the Roadrunner offense with 11 points and seven rebounds, while sophomore guard Carlos Martinez (Alhambra HS) added nine points off the bench. Sophomore forward Zach Waites (Palm Springs HS) made his way into the stat sheet with eight points, five rebounds and three assists.
College of the Desert will travel to Rio Hondo this Saturday afternoon for a 3 p.m. Foothill Conference game.
