COD Men’s Golf: Season-Best Scores Power Roadrunners to Riverside Win
The College of the Desert men’s golf team continued its dominant run through Orange Empire Conference play, capturing its third win in four conference events while posting some of its strongest individual rounds of the season.

Four Roadrunners turned in their lowest scores of the year, highlighted by two career-best performances and multiple season-tying rounds.
Competing in the eighth event of the 2026 season, and fourth OEC stop, this time at Victoria Country Club in Riverside, COD finished six strokes ahead of Victor Valley to secure the team victory.
Sophomore Linus Rindestad Utter (Handen {SWE} Fredrika Bremer Gymnasiet) delivered a standout performance, carding a career-low 4-under 68 to tie for second individually. Sophomore Logan Marra (Palm Desert H.S.) matched him with a career-best 68 of his own, also finishing tied for second.
Sophomore Sinjin Armstrong (La Quinta H.S.) tied his career and season low with a 3-under 69, placing fifth overall. Mason Montgomery (Palm Desert H.S.) followed with his second-best round of the season, shooting a 2-under 70 to finish tied for sixth.
Phar Vincent (Palm Desert Xavier College Preparatory) tied his season low with a 1-under 71, earning a tie for 10th, while Braxton McDonald (Coldstream {BC} Kalamalka Secondary) rounded out the lineup with a 2-over 74, finishing tied for 18th.
The Roadrunners return to action on Monday, March 30 at 10 a.m. as they continue conference play at Bear Valley Country Club in Victorville.
