COD Men’s Soccer sends Teran to CSUSB, Gastelum to Hope International and Rivera to Academy of Art University.
COD (13-4-5) wrapped up their incredible 2018 season in the CCCAA SoCal Regional Semifinals, traveling to Walnut to take on the #2 seed and falling to the Mt. San Antonio Mounties (18-3-3), 6-0.
COD Men’s Soccer has claimed the #10 seed and is on the road against a familiar foe in the opening round of the SoCal Regional playoffs after winning their first Conference Title since 1999.
COD (12-3-5; 10-1-5) is back in the playoffs for the first time since 1999, as they were awarded the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference title after defeating the Palomar Comets of San Marcos (5-12-3; 4-10-2), 2-0.
COD (7-2-5; 5-0-5) played a fantastic game in the face of a Cuyamaca Coyotes of El Cajon (5-4-6; 4-2-4) offensive attack that took 26 shots, but a goal in the 3rd minute for the Roadrunners proved to be all that was needed in the win, 1-0.
COD Men’s Soccer freshman forward Alejandro Pimentel (Thermal Desert Mirage) was named the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference’s (PCAC) Male Athlete of the Month for the month of September.
COD (5-2-4; 3-0-4) converted a penalty kick opportunity in the first half and used their shut down defense led by starting keeper Uriel Lopez to roll up the MiraCosta Spartans of Oceanside (2-8-1; 2-4-1), 3-0.
COD (4-2-4; 2-0-4) both teams went into the halftime break tied at 0-0 and then the second half exploded with offense as the Roadrunners scored first and last, grabbing their fourth tie in PCAC play, this time against the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines (4-5-2; 4-0-2), 2-2.
COD (4-2-2; 2-0-2) had their hands full from the opening kick with the first place Southwestern Jaguars from Chula Vista (3-7-1; 3-1-1), with the Roadrunners having to come from behind to tie the game, 2-2.
COD (2-2; 1-0) opened up Conference play with four goals in the first half and the goal keeper collected a clean sheet, as the Roadrunners rolled up the Imperial Valley Arabs (0-4; 0-1), 6-0.
COD (1-0) opened up the 2018 season at home and with expectations elevated for this season, the Roadrunners decided to begin against the #3 team in the nation, the Cerritos Falcons (0-1), knocking off the perennial State Title contenders, 2-1.
