COD (5-2-3) would convert a penalty kick in the 70th minute to secure the first win in the series, since these two teams met in 1979 and their first win on the road as the Roadrunners knocked off the Mt. San Antonio Mounties of Walnut (2-3-5), 2-1.
COD (4-1-3) would score seven unanswered goals, five in the second half, four goals by Jose Calderon, Jr. alone as the Roadrunners grabbed their most lopsided win of the season, punishing the Imperial Valley Desert Warriors (0-4-2), 7-1.
COD (3-0-2) grabbed their third win in a row, as the Roadrunners used three first half goals to cruise past the winless San Diego City Knights (0-4-1), 4-1.
COD (0-0-2) is impressively resilient, the heat delayed the start of the game over an hour, then the visitors jumped onto the scoreboard first, but the Roadrunners responded brilliantly, tying the Long Beach Vikings (1-0-1), 2-2.
COD (0-0-1) kicked off the 2023 season in a big way hosting a perennial 3C2A State Title contender and taking leads of 1-0 and 2-1, before settling for a tie with the Cerritos Falcons (0-0-1), 2-2.
