VICTORVILLE, Calif. -- College of the Desert women's basketball (12-17, 2-8) ended its season in thrilling triumph, as they defeated Victor Valley 77-72 in overtime on Saturday afternoon in Victorville.

VICTORVILLE, Calif. -- College of the Desert women's basketball (12-17, 2-8) ended its season in thrilling triumph, as they defeated Victor Valley 77-72 in overtime on Saturday afternoon in Victorville.
Freshman Chelsea Reese (Roswell, GA/Centenial HS) led the Lady Roadrunners with 20 points on 8-18 (44.4 percent) shooting. Fellow freshman, Yuka Ando (Hachioji, Japan/Bundai Suginami HS), added 19 points, while sophomore Bianca Gutierrez (Palm Desert, CA/Palm Desert HS) scored 14 off the bench.
College of the Desert women's basketball finishes its 2015-16 season at 12-17 overall, while reaching a 2-8 mark in the Foothill Conference.
