COD Women’s Golf: Speer shoots lowest score of season
COD had two golfers participate in the ninth event of the 2024 season at Costa Mesa Country Club - Mesa Linda Course in Costa Mesa in the eighth event on the Orange Empire Conference schedule, where the Desert participants finished in 8th and 22nd place on the par 72 course.

Grabbing the top spot for Desert in Costa Mesa was sophomore Kayla Speer (Yucaipa H.S.), shooting one-stroke better than her previous season low, collecting an 81.
Finishing 22nd was freshman Myah Urquidez (Banning H.S.), shooting her 4th best score of the season, collecting a 105.
The next event for Desert will be again at Costa Mesa Country Club - Mesa Linda Course in Costa Mesa, as the Roadrunners participate in the 1st round of the OEC Finals on Monday, October 28th at 11 a.m.
