COD Women’s Golf: Urquidez Posts Second-Best Round of Season in Anaheim
The College of the Desert Women’s Golf team continued conference play this week at their fifth match of the season, where sophomore Myah Urquidez (Banning H.S.) recorded her second-best round of the year.
The College of the Desert Women's Golf team continued conference play this week at their fifth match of the season, where sophomore Myah Urquidez (Banning H.S.) recorded her second-best round of the year.
Competing at the par-71 Dad Miller Golf Course in Anaheim under sunny 69-degree skies, the Roadrunners fielded two participants for the eighth event of the season. The Orange Coast Pirates of Costa Mesa captured the team title with a score of 309.
Freshman Daisy Castro (La Quinta H.S.) paced COD with a solid round of 92, finishing 14th individually. Urquidez closed out the afternoon for the Roadrunners, firing a 98, marking her second-lowest round of the 2025 campaign.
The Roadrunners will return to action for a two-day Orange Empire Conference Final beginning Monday, October 27, at Fullerton Golf Course in Fullerton.
