COD Plays Two at Mt. SAC Tournament
Walnut, CA - The College of the Desert Women's Volleyball team traveled to Mt. SAC to take on the host school and Riverside college in the Mt. SAC tournament.

Walnut, CA - The College of the Desert Women's Volleyball team traveled to Mt. SAC to take on the host school and Riverside college in the Mt. SAC tournament. The first match saw the Roadrunners fall to Mt. SAC 3-0 (25-23, 25-7, 25-20) as the Mounties stay perfect on the year. Alyssa Casarez lead the Roadrunners with 7 kills and 3 Aces. Angelica Sayo had 20 assists in the match.
In the second match of the day, the women fell to Riverside CC 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 25-17). Savannah Sharp had 10 kills in the match while Sayo contributed 36 assists. Libero Kaylie Edgar had 24 digs. The Roadrunners fall to 2-5 on the year. They have the next two weeks off before hosting Allan Hancock and Imperial Valley on Saturday September 24. The first match is at 10 am.
