COD Women's Volleyball Triumphant At Home
Palm Desert - The Roadrunner's volleyball team handled their business at home. They handled Cerro Coso College in four games.
Palm Desert - The Roadrunner's volleyball team handled their business at home. They dispatched Cerro Coso College in four games. Game one saw the Roadrunners take care of business 25-19 as it looked like the Roadrunners would make quick work of the Coyotes. Cerro Coso sent a message in game two that they would battle to the end. They took a 13-5 lead as Desert looked like a different team from game one. After some instruction out of a time out, the Roadrunners went back to work winning the second set 25-22. Cerro Coso took game three 25-17 before COD finished off their opponent in game four 25-14. Savannah Sharp had 15 kills for the match and Alyssa Casarez add 12. Kaylie Edgar had 22 digs and 3 aces for the Roadrunners. Jade adair contributed 44 assists. Desert improves to 4-7 on the year and will kick off Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at home against Mira Costa College. First serve is set for 5PM.
