COD Women’s Volleyball rolls past the Rams, 3-1

In their first home game in almost two weeks, COD (5-4) put together a solid effort against a former Foothill Conference opponent, the Victorville Victor Valley Rams (2-7), by a score of 25-18, 23-25, 25-9 and 25-19.

In their first home game in almost two weeks, COD (5-4) put together a solid effort against a former Foothill Conference opponent, the Victorville Victor Valley Rams (2-7), by a score of 25-18, 23-25, 25-9 and 25-19.

Freshman setter Ashtyn Lyneis (Palm Springs H.S.) led the team with 42 assists, led the team with 18 digs and had 3 block assists and freshman outside hitter Baylie Dashner (La Quinta H.S.) led the team with 14 kills and had 4 block assists.

Sophomore outside hitter London Felder (Alta Loma H.S.) had 13 digs and had 4 set assists and sophomore middle blocker Marisol Ruiz (Thermal Desert Mirage) led the team with 6 service aces, had 2 solo blocks, 2 block assists and had 9 kills.

Freshman middle blocker Nicole Svoboda (La Quinta H.S.) led the team with 6 block assists, 3 service aces and had 7 kills and freshman outside hitter Sydney Viliunas (Indio Shadow Hills) had 16 digs and 12 kills.

The next home game for COD is when they host the COD Tri, on Saturday, September 23, games start at 10 a.m.
