Lead Assistant Coach

Coach Dana Graham has been a cornerstone of the Roadrunner Volleyball program since the 2011–2012 season, serving as Lead Assistant Coach. In this role, he is deeply involved in every aspect of the program—from training and match preparation to travel, competition, and team culture. His dedication and energy have made him an invaluable part of COD’s continued success.

Graham’s coaching journey began in the Coachella Valley, where he built his reputation through high school and club volleyball. His accomplishments include helping guide a team to a CIF championship and a state semifinal appearance in 2010–2011. In addition to his contributions on the indoor court, he has been active in the growth of beach volleyball in the desert, coaching at Xavier College Preparatory High School and in multiple club programs. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with athletes make him a respected presence in both formats of the game.

Known for his infectious energy, Coach Graham enhances the volleyball experience with excitement, music, and atmosphere—bringing passion not only to his athletes but also to Roadrunner fans. He has also competed in numerous beach volleyball tournaments across Southern California, keeping his love for the game alive through play as well as coaching.

Off the court, Graham embraces adventure. A true outdoorsman, he enjoys building rock crawler Jeeps and exploring rugged trails throughout the Southwest and Rocky Mountains. Joined by his wife, their trail pup, and a close-knit community of fellow off-roaders, he finds joy in exploring new terrain, building friendships, and creating memories beyond the gym.
