Women's Cross Country Places Seventh in Palomar Invitational

OCEANSIDE Calif. - College of the Desert women's cross country places seventh in the Palomar Invitational over the weekend in Oceanside.

Freshman Becky McCambly paced the Lady Roadrunners with a time of 24:30, which placed her 27th overall.  Fellow freshman, Irie Jimenez, finished just behind her in 32nd, with a time of 25:11. Freshman Selina Clemente also ran a strong  race, as her final time was 31:59.

College of the Desert's next race will be Friday, September 25 when they compete in the Golden West Central Park Classic.  Race time is set for 10:15 a.m.
