COD Women’s Cross Country finishes 9th at Brubaker Invitational
COD entered their 6th event at Irvine Regional Park in Orange for the Brubaker Invitational where the team finished 9th.
Desert finished with 225 points and crossing the line first for the Roadrunners was sophomore Naibe Ruelas (Indio H.S.) in 23rd place, with a time of 21:19.82.
Sophomore Jasmin Gallegos (Indio Shadow Hills) finished the race in 40th place, 22:25.01 and crossing the line after her was freshman Stephany Ramirez-Lopez (Cathedral City H.S.) in 43rd, with a time of 22:57.29.
Finishing the race in 56th place was freshman Natalia Johnson (Indio Shadow Hills) with a time of 25:04.33. Freshman Christina Peters (Cathedral City H.S.) grabbed a finish time of 27:27.67 finishing 63rd.
Freshman Jacqueline Garcia Rodriguez (Indio H.S.) crossed the line in 64th place, with a time of 27:24.22. Wrapping up the race for Desert was sophomore Gladys Blanco (Rancho Mirage H.S.) with a time of 32:28.93 finishing 71st.
