On April 18, 2015 the College of the Desert baseball team defeated Victor Valley 4-0, which gave the Roadrunners two wins in their final three-game series of the season. Desert defeated VV 15-9 in the first game, before falling 11-7 in the second.

Baseball Ends Season With Series Win
On April 18, 2015 the College of the Desert baseball team defeated Victor Valley 4-0, which gave the Roadrunners two wins in their final three-game series of the season. Desert defeated VV 15-9 in the first game, before falling 11-7 in the second.
The Roadrunners amassed a stunning 20 hits in their 15-9 win, led by Sean Romo and Cole Danielson's three each. Multiple players drove in two runs each, including DJ Hernandez and Colton McCluskey. Five Roadrunner pitchers saw action, with Andre Ramirez earning the win. Ramirez allowed three runs over two innings of work, while striking out one.
To end their 2015 season, Desert starting pitcher Dallas Asuncion threw a complete game, eight-hit shutout. Danielson collected two hits and drove in two runs, while Hernandez and Kevin Pimentel each recorded RBIs.
The Roadrunners finished their season at 10-25 overall and 9-15 in conference play. They placed five players on the Foothill All-Conference list: Sean Romo (First-Team), Dallas Asuncion (Second-Team), Cole Danielson (Second-Team), DJ Hernandez (Second-Team), and Colton McClusky (Second-Team).
