COD Volleyball Grabs 8th Sweep, Beats Rams 3-0
COD wins their second game on the road to start off their 2025 conference matches undefeated at (2-0), extending to a 5 game win streak and their 8th sweep of the season. Your Roadrunners travelled to Victorville and beat the Victor Valley Rams 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-16).
COD wins their second game on the road to start off their 2025 conference matches undefeated at (2-0), extending to a 5 game win streak and their 8th sweep of the season. Your Roadrunners travelled to Victorville and beat the Victor Valley Rams 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-16).
The Roadrunners played very well, shutting out the Rams 3-0. Leading the charge was sophomore outside hitter Clairie Thomas (La Quinta H.S.) with 14 kills and a strong 11 digs. Leading the team with an impressive 15 digs was freshman libero Isabella Rosales (Shadow Hills H.S.). Setting up the team for success was freshman setter Faiyth Robinson (Desert Christian Academy) with 27 set assists. Leading in assist blocks was freshman middle blocker Jackie Leon (La Quinta H.S.) with 2 assist blocks, also contributing 5 kills and 6 digs. Matching with 5 kills and 6 digs was freshman outside hitter Amber Kardol (Palm Desert H.S.). Contributing 4 kills and leading the team with 1 solo block was sophomore middle blocker Madyson Duran (Rancho Mirage H.S.). Leading the team with 2 service aces and contributing 3 kills was freshman right side Sara Hanley (Palm Desert Xavier College Prep).
The Roadrunners face their next 2 games on the road and will return for their next home match on October 22, 2025 against the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines.
