COD (12-10; 7-4) celebrated Sophomore Night in front of a large crowd, grabbing their 11th sweep of the season, knocking off the Chaffey Panthers of Rancho Cucamonga (6-13; 5-5) 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-22).

COD (12-10; 7-4) celebrated Sophomore Night in front of a large crowd, grabbing their 11th sweep of the season, knocking off the Chaffey Panthers of Rancho Cucamonga (6-13; 5-5) 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-22).
The Roadrunners played against Chaffey for the first time in program history in 1976 and hold a 34-31 overall record against them after defeating the Panthers in Rancho Cucamonga on October 9th, 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-23). The Roadrunners hold a 21-13 record against the Panthers in Palm Desert.

The next match-up for the Roadrunners will be November 8th at 5p when the Roadrunners are hosting the Copper Mountain Fighting Cacti of Joshua Tree. The Roadrunners played against Copper Mountain for the first time in program history in 2022 and hold a 5-0 overall record against them after defeating the Fighting Cacti in Joshua Tree on October 16th, 3-0 (25-3, 25-5, 25-2). Desert has a 2-0 record against the Fighting Cacti in Palm Desert.
