News mentions
The 2018 season was the seventh year for co-head coaches Marion Champion and Detlev Rothe as Desert ended the season with a record of 20-5 overall and 7-3 in Conference, the first season since 2007 to collect 20 or more wins, finishing third.
COD (6-1) not only swept their former Foothill Conference foes, but demolished them, book-ending their efforts with huge point runs and knocking out the Chaffey Panthers (4-3) for the first time since 2011, 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-13)
