Desert women's tennis player freshman Hana Moss (National City Sweetwater Union) concluded her stellar first season with the Roadrunners by claiming the silver medal in the CCCAA State Singles Tournament completed Saturday at The Ojai Tournament. Moss won her semifinal match in the morning before falling in a final in the afternoon at Libbey Park in Ojai.
COD (9-1) kicked off the 2023 CCCAA SoCal Regionals with a nail-biting victory that came down to a near three-hour match at the number three singles, as the Roadrunners survived to play another round, knocking off the Glendale Vaqueros (13-8), 5-4.
COD (7-1; 6-0) had a couple of close matches, but eventually grabbed a lopsided home victory, with the Roadrunners in search of their first Conference title since 2014, as Desert knocked off the Mt. San Antonio Mounties of Walnut (6-5; 5-2), 9-0.
